This paper pendant light is a crisp conical shade made from durable washi, which glows with a soft, warm light while holding a clean, contemporary shape. The cone sends the beam downward into a focused pool, so it earns its place over a counter or table as well as reading as a sculptural form. Two sizes and two finishes set the look, in white or white with a black tip.

Choosing a size

• Small: 13.8 in diameter, 8.3 in high - counter or single drop.
• Large: 19.7 in diameter, 9.8 in high - round table or island.
• Plain white glows soft and even; the black tip adds a crisp graphic edge.

The cone makes it more practical than a fully enclosed shade, which would only glow rather than light the surface.

Washi is a tough, long-lasting paper that holds its shape and resists tearing, though it is still a paper shade and better kept dry. Takes a standard E26/E27 bulb (not included) on 59 in of wire, trimmed on install. A warm 2700K bulb suits both finishes; a dimmer holds it low. Hardwire through a licensed electrician.
