Our Return Policy

At CircLighting, every product listing reflects the exact specifications of what we ship. Our return policy is clear: refunds are issued only when an item arrives damaged, defective, or does not match its listed technical specifications. All other sales are final once your order has shipped.

We encourage all customers to review product dimensions, finish codes, and technical specifications carefully before placing an order.

When a Refund Is Eligible

Only Two Situations Qualify
Refunds are accepted in the following cases only:

✅ Item Arrived Damaged or Defective
Physical damage caused during shipping, or a manufacturing defect present at the time of delivery.

✅ Item Does Not Match Listed Technical Specifications
The product received differs measurably and verifiably from what is stated on the product page at the time of purchase — such as dimensions, finish code, wattage, voltage, or number of light heads.

All other sales are final once your order has shipped. Change of mind, style preference, color appearance differences, or incorrect measurements are not grounds for a return or refund.

What Does Not Qualify for a Refund

❌ Change of Mind
Once your order has shipped, we are unable to accept returns for personal preference, style changes, or buyer's remorse.

❌ Color Appearance Differences
Screen and monitor settings vary. Color variation between a product photo and real-life appearance does not constitute a specification mismatch and is not eligible for a refund.

❌ Incorrect Size or Finish Ordered
Please verify all dimensions and finish codes before placing your order. Orders placed with incorrect selections are not eligible for return once shipped.

❌ Installed or Assembled Items
Once a fixture has been installed or assembled, it is not eligible for return under any circumstances.

❌ Custom or Special-Order Items
Items manufactured or configured specifically for your order are final sale and cannot be returned.

❌ Clearance and Final Sale Items
These are clearly marked at the time of purchase and are non-returnable.

What Counts as a Technical Specification Mismatch

Qualifies as a Spec Mismatch
The product must differ from what is explicitly stated on the product page in a measurable and verifiable way:

✅ Examples That Qualify
Dimensions differ from what is listed (e.g., listed as 12" diameter, delivered as 18"). Finish code is different from what was ordered (e.g., Brushed Nickel ordered, Chrome delivered). Wattage or voltage differs from the listed specification. Number of lights or heads does not match the listing. A completely different product was shipped.

❌ Examples That Do Not Qualify
Color appears different on screen versus in person. Style or finish does not suit your room's décor. Personal preference changed after receiving the item. Measurements were not verified before ordering.

Refund Amount

What You Receive
If your claim is approved, you will receive a full refund of the item purchase price and your original shipping charge.

Return Shipping Is Not Covered
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility in all cases, including approved damage and specification mismatch claims. Your refund covers the item price and original outbound shipping only.

Refund After Inspection
Refunds are processed only after the item has been received and inspected at our warehouse. Please do not expect a refund before we confirm receipt and verify the claim.

How to Submit a Refund Claim

Step 1: Contact Us Within 48 Hours of Delivery

Report the Issue Promptly
Email customercare@sellcongroup.com with your order number, the item(s) you are claiming, and a clearly stated reason — damaged/defective or technical specification mismatch.

Submit Clear Photos
Include photos of the item received, the original packaging and shipping box, the shipping label, and the specific damage, defect, or discrepancy. Claims reported after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted.

Step 2: Claim Review

Review Within 2–3 Business Days
We will review your claim and respond within 2–3 business days. You will be notified whether your claim is approved or declined, along with the reason.

Specification Verification
For technical specification mismatch claims, we will verify your claim against the product listing that was live at the time of your purchase.

Step 3: Ship the Item Back to Our Warehouse

Wait for Approval First
Do not ship the item before receiving approval. Unauthorized returns sent without a claim reference number will not be eligible for a refund.

Ship at Your Own Expense
Once approved, we will provide our warehouse return address. You ship the item back at your own expense using a trackable shipping method. Write your claim reference number clearly on the outside of the box and keep your tracking number.

Secure Packaging
Repack the item securely in its original packaging. Include all parts, accessories, and documentation. We recommend insuring high-value items during return transit.

Step 4: Inspection and Refund

Warehouse Inspection
Once the item arrives at our warehouse, our team will inspect it against your approved claim. If the item is confirmed to match the claim, a full refund will be issued.

Refund Notification
You will receive email confirmation when your refund has been processed. Refund processing time is 14–20 business days from the date we receive and inspect the return.

Damaged or Defective Items

Report Within 48 Hours

Act Immediately
If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, email us within 48 hours of delivery. Do not discard the original packaging — we will need photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label to process your claim.

What Happens Next
Once your damage claim is reviewed and approved, we will provide the warehouse return address. You ship the item back at your expense, and upon inspection and confirmation, a full refund will be issued.

Specification Mismatch Claims

Document the Discrepancy
If the item you received does not match the technical specifications listed on the product page, email us within 48 hours with your order number, the specific specification that does not match, and clear photos showing the discrepancy.

Verification Process
We will verify the claim against the product listing at the time of purchase. If confirmed, your claim will be approved and you will receive instructions to return the item at your own shipping expense for a full refund.

Order Cancellations

Before It Ships

Contact Us Immediately
If you need to cancel your order, email us at customercare@sellcongroup.com as soon as possible. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of placement receive a full refund. Orders cancelled before shipment also receive a full refund.

After It Ships

Orders Cannot Be Cancelled Once Shipped
Once your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled, rerouted, or redirected. Please do not refuse delivery — refused packages are not eligible for a refund and will incur return freight costs.

Return Shipping

Customer's Responsibility in All Cases
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility in every case — including approved damage claims and specification mismatch claims. We do not provide prepaid return labels.

Use a Trackable Method
Always use a trackable shipping method when returning an item. We cannot be responsible for lost return shipments. We recommend purchasing shipping insurance for high-value items.

Refund Processing

Timeline
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, refunds are processed within 14–20 business days to your original payment method.

Refund Methods
Credit card: 14–20 business days. PayPal: 14–20 business days. Debit card: 14–20 business days. 0% APR Financing: Credits applied to your financing account.
