Metal Dome Pendant with Linen Diffuser | Soft Glow for Dining & Island

A metal dome over a softening linen diffuser

This dome pendant light sets a blackened metal shell above a pulled linen diffuser, so the hard shape frames the fixture while the cloth below gentles the light. The domed form nods to simple agricultural hut shapes, giving it an honest, architectural feel. Three versions set the size and the layering, and the black-and-white pairing suits a dining table or kitchen island.

The three versions

• Small: 10.2 in diameter, 7.9 in high.
• Large: 15.7 in diameter, 9.8 in high.
• Two layers: 15.7 in diameter with a double shade for extra depth.

The single-layer shades read cleaner from across a room; the two-layer version rewards being seen up close.

Good to know

The metal alone would throw a hard edge, so the linen diffuser spreads an even, warm glow with no visible bulb. Takes a standard E26/E27 bulb (not included) on 59 in of wire, trimmed on install. Use a 2700K bulb on a dimmer and keep the linen clear of heavy steam. Hardwire through a licensed electrician.
