Concrete Dome Pendant | Cast Industrial Shade in Three Sizes

A cast concrete dome with an industrial edge

This pendant is cast from concrete into a shallow dome that sets a raw, industrial material against a refined modern shape. The heft and texture of the concrete give it genuine presence over a kitchen island or dining table, while the muted finishes keep it understated. Three sizes scale it from a single counter drop up to a broader statement.

Choosing a size

The low dome sends light down in a focused pool onto the surface below, and because the concrete is solid none of it passes through, so plan other sources for ambient glow.

• Small, 9.8 in diameter, for a counter or single drop
• Medium, 13.8 in diameter, for a round table or island
• Large, 17.7 in diameter, for a dining table or large island

Good to know

The shade is cast concrete, 5.9 inches high, in black, grey, or green, with bulbs not included. It hangs from 59 inches of wire trimmed on install. The concrete is heavy, so the box must be rated for the load, especially on the larger sizes. A warm 2700K bulb keeps the pool inviting against the cool concrete, a dimmer suits the focused beam, and a licensed electrician should confirm the rating and hardwire it.
