Pale alabaster discs strung from a tall black iron frame

A cascade of natural alabaster discs hangs from a dark metal frame that falls close to five feet. The black ironwork throws the milky stone into relief, and the discs warm to a candle-like gold as a dim-to-warm system lowers the output - deepening the colour, not just the brightness.

At 20 inches wide and 59 inches tall, it is a statement drop for a stairwell, a tall entry, or the length of a long dining table.

What dim-to-warm means

Standard dimming only lowers brightness while holding the colour steady. Dim-to-warm drops the output and warms the tone together, so on a low setting the stone glows a soft gold rather than a flat white. It needs a compatible dimmer - confirm yours supports dim-to-warm or the effect is lost.

Good to know

Uses G9 bulbs (not included) in a black-and-white finish. This is a heavy 33-pound piece on a 59-inch frame, so the ceiling box must be rated for the load and the work done by a licensed electrician.
