The cone sends the beam downward into a focused pool, so it earns its place over a counter or table as well as reading as a sculptural form. Two sizes and two finishes set the look, in white or white with a black tip.

Choosing a size

Small: 13.8 in diameter, 8.3 in high - counter or single drop.

Large: 19.7 in diameter, 9.8 in high - round table or island.

Plain white glows soft and even; the black tip adds a crisp graphic edge.

The cone makes it more practical than a fully enclosed shade, which would only glow rather than light the surface.

Good to know

Washi is a tough, long-lasting paper that holds its shape and resists tearing, though it is still a paper shade and better kept dry. Takes a standard E26/E27 bulb (not included) on 59 in of wire, trimmed on install. A warm 2700K bulb suits both finishes; a dimmer holds it low.
